# Deleting a phone number

Deleting a phone number is a permanent action. To delete a phone number,

- Login to Genuity. You will need to have **edit permissions** for the Telecom Expense Management module to delete a phone number.
- Navigate to **Telecom Expense Management→Phone Numbers**.
- Click the **trash can icon** to the right of the phone number.
- Confirm your action by clicking **Delete**.
