# Genuity Asset Self-Onboarding

Step 1: Go to [Home](https://test-madi.gogenuity-staging.com/) -> [Assets](https://test-madi.gogenuity-staging.com/managed_assets/) -> [Connectors](https://test-madi.gogenuity-staging.com/managed_assets/discovery) and from the Genuity Discovery Tools section click on Self-OnBoarding.

Step 2: From the Self-OnBoarding section select the staff members whose device data you want to add.

Step 3: Click Send app. Those staff members will be invited to run the Self-OnBoarding app. Selected staff will receive an email, click Download for Windows for Windows OS and Download for Mac for Mac machines.

Step 4: Double-click the .exe file that was downloaded and it will open up the executable program.

Step 6: App will start retrieving system information like (Applications details, Mac Addresses details, IP Address and OS info) and will add your asset on Genuity Platform.

Step 6: Click on View Details for viewing the info getting by the agent.

## **Helpful Tips**

That's it! These assets will show up in the Genuity system under managed assets and under discovered assets- imported.
