# Helpdesk Forms Enhancements

Transform your helpdesk custom forms with our new Form Type Conversion feature. Switch between Simple Forms and Multi-step Wizards to match your workflow needs.

#### **Key Features:**

**Form Type Conversion**

Users can now convert helpdesk custom forms between two types:

- Simple Form → Multi-step Wizard: Transform a traditional single-page form into an interactive, step-by-step workflow
- Multi-step Wizard → Simple Form: Convert a multi-step workflow back into a streamlined single-page form

**Easy Conversion Process**

- Access the conversion feature via the "Workflow Type" dropdown in the Form Builder
- Choose between "Simple Form" and "Multistep Wizard" options
- Confirmation modal ensures you're aware of the conversion impact

**Smart Field Handling**

- All form fields are preserved during conversion
- Field data and configurations remain intact
- Automatic re-ordering may occur to accommodate the new format

**Draft Management**

- If a draft exists for the target form type, you'll be prompted to:
  - Keep existing draft: Maintain your already existing draft without changes
  - Convert and replace: Replace the existing draft with the converted form

Form type conversion is now smarter and draft-aware. Users can freely switch between simple and multi-step forms while preserving their work and saving time.
