# Manually Adding Assets

If you have assets you can't add by any of our Discovery Tools, Genuity also gives you the ability to manually add assets. These devices will appear in the same list with all of the managed assets.

**Manually Add Assets**

- Navigate to the **Assets** module.

- Fill in the required basic details: Name, Type
- Fill in the additional information: Vendor, Asset Type details, Location & Usage, Warranty, and Date information. You'll be able to link the asset to a user and a manager.
- Click on the **Save** button to finish adding the asset.
