Username for People

A Username field for People has been introduced in the Company User module. This update improves identity management, enables more accurate data sync from Azure AD/Entra ID integrations, and supports a better user experience.

Key Updates

Username Field Addition

The Username field has been added across all Company User forms. This field is now used as a primary identifier for user sign-in.

Azure AD/Entra ID Integration

When users are imported from Azure AD / Entra ID, the system now captures the User Principal Name (UPN) separately from the primary email address. This ensures that legacy usernames and alternate sign-in credentials are preserved during imports and ongoing syncs.

Frontend Enhancement

The Username field is seamlessly integrated into the Company User profile page and appears alongside the Email field, making it easily accessible for viewing and editing.

This update reduces ambiguity between login credentials and contact information, and provides organizations with stronger control over how users are identified and authenticated across the platform.
