Several enhancements have been introduced to the Kandji integration to improve how device and user data is imported, managed, and synchronized across your organization.
Key Updates:
User Import Option
A new configuration setting now allows you to choose whether users should be imported along with devices from Kandji. This gives administrators greater flexibility in managing user records based on internal processes and requirements.
Automatic User Assignment
When enabled, users assigned to devices in Kandji will be automatically imported and mapped to the corresponding devices within our platform, ensuring accurate user–device relationships without manual effort.
Staff Member Creation
Imported users will be added as uninvited staff members. This allows administrators to review, validate, and onboard them when appropriate—without affecting existing workflows or roles.
Discovered User Record
Each imported user will automatically generate a discovered user profile that clearly identifies Kandji as the source. This enhances auditability and helps IT teams easily track where user data originated.
