Asset Audit feature has been introduced in the Managed Assets module, enabling teams to efficiently verify asset ownership, track audit status, and improve overall asset accountability.
Create & Manage Asset Audits
Users can now create audits for both owned and unowned assets, including device types such as laptops and desktops. Audits can be assigned to any user, with the option to bulk-assign all assets or only unowned assets. Attachments can also be included to support additional documentation.
Automated Notifications & Scheduling
Auditors can schedule audits with a due date, set status, notes, and configure automated reminders, including:
Recurring reminders (every X day(s))
First notification scheduling
Direct email communication to asset owners
Self-Audit & External Verification
Organizations can optionally allow unauthenticated users to verify their assigned assets, simplifying audits for external or non-portal users.
Enhanced Audit List View
A dedicated Audit List page has been added with:
Filters for status, type, and self-audit
Resizable, draggable, and sortable columns
A global search bar for faster navigation
These updates provide improved visibility, streamlined audit workflows, and better control over asset verification across the organization.
