Implemented the Mac Agent Auto-Updates feature in the Managed Assets module under the Discovery Tools section. This feature provides centralized control over Mac Agent updates, ensuring company agent devices stay up to date while allowing flexibility for individual user preferences.
This enhancement helps companies and users manage their agent updates efficiently and reduce effort in keeping Mac Agents up-to-date.
Company-Wide Control for Auto-Updates
Company Users can enable or disable Mac Agent Auto-Updates for the entire company using the provided toggle functionality.
When enabled, updates are automatically turned on for all company users.
When disabled, updates are turned off across the company. Individual user preferences remain saved but will become inactive, and their updates will be disabled.
Individual User Update Management
Company users can also manage their individual update settings for Mac agents.
From the People dropdown, specific users can be selected to exclude from Mac Agent Auto-Updates. These users are added to the Users Excluded from Auto Updates list, and their updates will be disabled.
