Attachments

Attachments are a list of files that have been uploaded to the ticket. The filesare listed under the attachment tab in the ticket detail page. There are numerous ways in which to attach files to a ticket. A file can be dragged and dropped onto the drop target for attachments. If a system email for a ticket is responded to by a staff with an attachment, then the attachment in the email will be saved to the ticket.

There are some restrictions on attachments. Only image types (PNG, JPEG, GIF) or PDF documents are allowed. Files greater than 10 MB are not allowed. There is no restriction on the number of attachments either in the system or per ticket.

Documents Library

There are some files in which are useful on numerous tickets. There is a document library to store common files. This provides an easy way to attachment common files to tickets.
