Genuity makes it a breeze to integrate all of your Expensify vendor transaction data and along with other integrations, match spend to Expensify.

Simply follow the instructions below;


  1. Login to Genuity as a user or administrator. You will need to have edit permissions for the Vendors module.
  2. Navigate to the Vendors Module → Connectors Tab → Expensify and click sync account.
  3. You’ll need to enter User ID and User secret to integrate Expensify and you can get these credentials through the following steps. 
    - Login to Expensify dashboard
    - Goto https://www.expensify.com/tools/integrations/
    - A pair of credentials: partnerUserID and partnerUserSecret will be generated and shown on the page.
  4. Once synced (which may take some time depending on the amount of data) Genuity will pull in all of your transactions and create vendors via our predefined mapping of over 5,000 providers.  Please check all transaction information under vendors, check transactions under our transactions tab and create new vendors from transactions that need to be confirmed or under unrecognized.

Syncing with Expensify requires an administrator account that is used to authorize the Genuity application to access your Expensify transactions.  But don't sweat it, the Expensify admin account that you use is never sent to Genuity, it is a direct web authentication to Expensify that enables the Genuity application with read only permissions.
